Agree with William. I was in Myer only yesterday returning something I bought for my mother. The 1st register I went to said I need to return it in the dept I bought it from... Fine... Then the 2nd register said I need to return it to the register closest to the brand I bought it from... Fine... Then when I got there I told the woman at the register, I'm happy just to exchange it for skin care I don't need a refund - this was too difficult so she just refunded me... WTF?? So I walked out and got the skin care from DJs. Friendly the first time.

Myer may get it right in the long term ... or not.

However, having watched DJs sink from their listing price of $2 to below $1 before the current management got the place sorted out and made the term "shareholder value" meaningful again, I am not interested in punting serious money on Myer while it gets its act together.

Having been frustrated trying to buy goods at different Myer stores due to lack of staff at cash registers, I would not buy shares in this outfit.

How difficult is it to get the concept. Fill your store with stuff people want to buy, then take their money off them at cash points. It ain't rocket science.

I would only buy shares in a company that shows it's well run.
