Put your words on Brendan’s banner

Crikey reader Julien Marr directed our attention to this story in which former Liberal leader, now EU diplomat, Brendan Nelson waved goodbye to his supporters with a simple “Thank You” banner.

Nelson, who officially stepped down as the Member for Bradfield last night, has long been a Crikey favourite, so it’s fitting we should hold a long overdue Crikey competition in his honour.

The task is simple. Email boss@crikey.com.au with ”name Brendan’s banner” in the subject field and suggest a new form of words for Brendan’s farewell roadside. The winner, yes we’ll pick one, will get a signed copy of today’s First Dog On The Moon cartoon.
