Just to add to the walking dead numbers, that zombie Andrews, he who will forever be branded with the disgraceful detention of Dr Haneef has entered the asylum seekers debate, suggesting a return to temp visas and more of the jack boot type conditions that prevailed under his demented former boss Howard. This so called devout catholic must spend a good deal of time on his knees or perhaps his attitude to persons fleeing persecution, war etc dont count as a confessional item. Andrews is another who should have packed his bags and ridden off into the sunset, never to be seen again. What a disaster, mind you it must make the Govt happy to have these old fools raising their heads above the trenches, spouting their evil. Just keeps the disgrace of the detention camps firmly in the electorates mind.

Nice Work, Mr Dog. Its like laughing at the stony face of gloom - but, black humour relies on a niggling undercurrent. In this case its that the xenophobe still lurks among us and could be influential again. Phil "The Cadaver" Ruddock's shoes may just be waiting for someone else (an unprincipled, opportunistic polly, perhaps?) to fill them.... I hope this sh*t doesn't happen again in Oz, but I ain't holding my breath.

I had hoped that Ruddock would've retired quietly to his gardening (anyone remember the puff piece in a weekend magazine a few years ago?? completely vomitous). Maybe even his plants can't stand him....

Have you noticed how FD's strips are all about the eyes? For example, the dog in the boat. With the baby. Oh yes.

Look at Philip Ruddock through a glass and darkly. There is a man who lives his own words-though what he opes to achieve today is beyond me-his grim visage and skeletal body become a hangman's noose or the guillotine, or a garrotte.

Hold it PADDY: Before you do that please wait until I can find John Winston Howard. We could lash them together and then feed them to the sharks. :) :)

MESKI: You bastard! You stole my line. Cheers V. :)

BTW FD: Good one. :) :)

Hell James M.
That's not funny....It's downright scary.
"Funny", would involve *Ruddock* being fed to the sharks.

Gold, gold, beautiful. I was in a lecture the other day and someone started to say "well, in terms of - " when the lecturer snapped "Oh God don't say in terms of, it reminds me of Phillip Ruddock! Too soon!".
