As a minor shareholder, I disagreed with the boards recommendation and voted for 2 of the 3 applicants and abstained my vote on the 3rd. This company needs new direction. I have faith in Roger Corbett to inject passion and marketing sense into the company, however there is nothing like hands on media experience to show insight into what a media company needs to be successful. If you are a shareholder, please take the time to look into your choices and voting rights. Dont be complacent. Your vote for one, or all of these 3 candidates, will let the board know there needs to be a board member that has the hands on media experience to advise and show direction on how Fairfax should be developing as a business and company.
