Also let's see an Opposition response to Alan here just in case he's been caught up in the defacto lynching that is the Malcontents and their echo chamber this week, as good as he really is. Also, as it was the one good idea which would be popular as well with the electorate, I imagine that the government might just nick it from them and introduce it, maybe as a pre-election announcement next year. I'm sure Lindsay Tanner wouldn't be averse to the idea of adding another string to his bow.
