VIDEO: Harry Connick Jr does blackface, too

There’s no such thing as ancient history on the internet. A Crikey reader unearthed this today:

Harry Connick Jr. appears in a MAD TV sketch with “blackface” in 1996. Hmm.

    While I would suggest that the previous commenter’s view of us as idiots without lives is harsh (I know us to be bright, intelligent warm people with exciting and fulfilling lives) Slayer is right about one thing, nobody in this film clip is in blackface.

    Yeah c’mon THINK crikey! Thinking is SOOO important. HCjr isn’t in Blackface here and to suggest this has any parallel to Hey Hey’s clusterfuck-up the other night implies the same level of comprehension of the issue as yr average Herald Sun comment thread.
