I worked for Boeing Australia Ltd head office about 7 years ago and maintain contact with some of the very few remaining staff there. When I worked at BAL there were NO Americans on the staff. Since then it has been taken over by Boeing US number crunchers who have not improved things and have made many good staff redundant. Boeing used to be the 7th most recognised brand name in the world. Now it must be way down the line. Alex

A grim report, Boeing is an icon across the world. Recall the echo of ex shadow foreign minister 'Kevin 07' as a brand passenger on the original 747. If private equity or whatever has rotted the organisation from the inside then really this should be explained alot more publicly.

style over substance.

If they promise then they can be paid while they are trying to deliver. If they don't deliver they just make up another reason and get paid more. Kinda like the MYKI transport debacle in Victoria. The practical application problems are obvious initially but as MYKI have promised they will deliver the Gov keep paying them. As opposed to saying the cash stops until you deliver results.
