Re Abbott...
The mad Monk's behaviour recently is verging on the period 2006/7 when he was leader of Howards head kicking brigade and member of the Howard front bench dirty tricks group. He seems determined to inject unrest and destabalising, along with his absurd performance yesterday, his announcement this morning that the Opposition may boycott QT is not only childish in the extreme but proves nothing. Abbotts comment a couple of weeks ago that he was still in regular contact with Howard, suggests the former disgraced PM has more than a passing interest in the goings on of the current rabble that make up the Opposition. It is of course no coincidence Abbotts ambitions are still firmly set on the Liberal leadership and Howard is a strong supporter of his as well as still being popular among many others (excluding Turnbull)in the Liberal opposition. Turnbull knows he still has enemies in his group and if Howard is calling the shots from behind the lines, there is just no hope for this coalition.
