		<description>the total suicide rate per 100,000 in France in 2005 was about 22 for the age group 25-64, so in 18 months we might expect about 33. Add in some recession stress and it&#039;ll probably go higher. France Telecom employs over 100,000 people. So if anything 23 suicides in 18 months suggests that France telecom employees are less likely to  suicide than non-employees. Perhaps it&#039;s a pretty good place to work after all.

This is the sort of idiot empty story I&#039;d expect from a numerically illiterate humanities graduate member of the US republican party.</description>
