No one should be surprised that KPMG endorsed the MAp proposal. KPMG achieved fame (or infamy?) with last year's "independent expert's" report advising Great Southern woodlot owners to swap their interests for shares in Great Southern. Within a few months, those shares were worthless.
Luckily for KPMG, its million dollar fee was paid not in Great Southern shares, but in cash - cash that might prove handy to fend off the class action lawyers who are looking very closely at Great Southern and at KPMG's report.
