thanks FD, i now have a great opener for tonight’s somewhat usual stale conversation with my two teenage daughters…keep up the good work..i too like sk84 boi (and have even seen avril in concert - not many stale, pale and old guys can say that!). i think the cryptic title was the first time i understood “text speak”. now i have to think of a reply when the eldest says something - “dad, avril is so hasbeen. she totally sold out. geez, talk about being so yesterday”

Hmm I never realised how deep and exististential Avril Lavigne’s lyrics were, until now.

Where’s my FDOTM cartoon of Camus’ ‘The Plague’ or ‘The Outsider’? If not I’ll settle for an interpretation of REM’s ‘Losing my Religion’ …

Avril Lavigne and exitensilism, weird that is not oxymoronic…

I love the subtle insertion (oooerrr!) of Abby and Jasper :-)

    LOL
Took me 10 mins to work out the “leetspeak” title.

    Speaking of Abby and Jasper……
What sort of drugs have you been feeding that poor pussycat FD?

    He’s clearly had a chemical epiphany. :-)

PADDY: Don’t you tweet? Oddly enough it was the ‘boi’ which un-horsed me. So innocuous, so French, Polish, Hungarian, Lithuanian, Russian, Amerindian, Portuguese, Hindi, etc. so, I gave up. :( :( :( .

    Cheers

Venise, tweeting makes me feel way too “exposed”.
Plus, I have to confess, the “boi” bit only became obvious, after I found Avril on youtube. :-)
