Just what do they think they will get from that lot? The Abbotts,Abetz,Ruddock's,Tuckey's,and others with their ultra conservative views plus Feilding thrown in. Do they want to return to the dark ages again? Give it time, even in the States the Gays champion Pres Obama is not agreeing with gay marriage yet. There are times legislation for change will take time, lobby by all means. Threats will change nothing. So is the Gay community wanting to return to a Coalition Govt? No wonder Mr Hawke was honored by this lot. He is the ultimate achiever in their eyes he turned his intelligence in money and influence. What did it cost his party and the people it is meant to represent?
