* 11.5% had experienced a major physical assault which left them with injuries ranging from broken bones, ligament damage, cuts, fractured eye sockets and nerve damage.

* 78% had been threatened with violence

* 81.7 had experienced threatening or intimidating behaviour such as stalking,

* 98% had experienced some form of verbal abuse.

I don’t know any parking inspectors, but I sure do know of irate drivers who can’t control their tempers and somehow think they can take it out on people just enforcing the law.

We wouldn’t expect any less protection for our Police men and women (not “Keystone Cops”) or Train Guards (not “Goonz”).
