The mistake was mine in transmission. I will have to relearn how to cut and paste.
The last sentence of my piece should read:
This was not some insightful reporting from the mainstream but an example of how some internet only news sites are doing a better job of reporting than the traditional newspapers.

Richard, I’ve read that last para numerous times, and I’m still completely clueless as to what you are trying to say.
Is Business Spectator not the produce of “hard working” journo’s?
(I think they’re among the cream of the crop.)

Why was an interview with A.D. by Isabelle Oderberg *not* insightful reporting?

Perhaps you were being ironic, but if so, it went way over my head.

Loved the extract from Dolly Downer. It could have been written for Sir Humphrey, in Yes Prime Minister. He really wanted to say the Govt had handled the Mr Hu confinement correctly. But of course being the good Lib that he is, rather than say it directly he took the long way round. He does have a way about him, sort of miss the chap in some ways, but then mmm no.
