I can't believe how the dum dum Turnball wants Kevin to go into China with bayonets drawn. If it wasn't for his constant crooked smile I would have expected him to be wearing a clown mask. And his wet whistle assistant JBishop has to be the most twitless of the lot (except for Henry the shadow musketeer) when she says Kevin is too slow at reacting.

It is a softly softly approach needed as anyone with half a brain would know about China and all the asian continents. But Turnball only has a quarter of a brain so he woudn't qualfiy. The sleazy Libs have never leart from the children overbord venture that we all know they are lying dyhards. And their reaction to Haneef's arrest and torture was typical Lib neo-conservative ignorance and intolerance. Howard showed the Australian public how to lie, now Turnball carries on with the Hansonesque sophistry to try to use wedge politics. Thats what every word out of Turnball's twisted lips is for - to try to wedge the Australian public into hating all asians.

Noone knows the full story of what went on in Shanghai, and its very premature to be making guesses. The Chinese law will be followed; calls by Senator Brown and the opposition that western law should be used is pointless, and will strongly annoy the Chinese, who still remember the policy of westerners ignoring Chinese law and following their own in China dating from unfair concessions obtained prior to the 1940's. The Chinese government want to make Shanghai an international economic centre. If it turns out that these legal charges against Hu and his employees are unwarranted or unjust then western businesses will leave the country in droves, and they will suffer a greater failure. Many people in the Chinese government will be aware of these dangers, and while they have made such mistakes in the past, there may actually be some wrongdoing involved. We all need to wait and see, and encourage a full disclosure of the events that took place in Shanghai...

All the more reason Tom for the PM to show constraint and not charge in like a wounded bull as Turnbull the Mad would have him do. I see the foot in both camps party, the Greens leader Brown, has sided with Turnbull, Bishop and that brainless coot Joyce in screaming for Chinese blood. As each day goes by Turnbull shows why he is not fit to lead his party let alone a Government. I seem to remember a deafening silence from he and his screaching hand maiden Bishop when Dr Haneef was thrown in jail on trumped up terrorist charges. They are calling for more intervention from the PM on something they know nothing about. When it comes to dealing with China, Kevin Rudd knows more than most of us. Lets leave it to him. According to Foreign Minister Smith, he is now aware of the charges and stresses caution. Thats why they are elected, let them do the job.

And what would Chen Yonglin, formerly a senior staffer at the Chinese embassy in Sydney Australia, and now a political refugee have to say about speaking truth to power in this instance?

And what about Hugh White with his feature story in the Australian Literary Review last weekend (if memory serves). China to overtake the US economy by 2020 or 2030.

And it's a fascist dictatorship. Nice.

Fact is PM Rudd is a pimple on the arse of that huge power monger and resource thug.

I cannot believe that the Opposition would be so stupid as to play wedge politics when Australians are at risk in China. Where is their sense? We keep hearing how intelligent Malcolm Turnbull is- where is the evidence of this. As for that irritating little yap dog JOOLIE- can no one tell her to SHUT UP. Has she no sense that this is a sophisticated game we play with China? What fools... i give up.
