The irony that you media types have apparently yet to realise is that by even mentioning your competitors you risk losing audience.

Unlike print media where your purchase of a particular paper is public knowledge, digital media is essentially private.

So while I might not grab the latest issue of &quot;Das Third Reich&quot; from my local newsagent to read on the train, I will be checking out The Punch and possibly canceling my Crikey subscription.</description>
