By law, the agent is obliged to market a property to the full advantage of the vendor and must fully communicate all offers to the vendor. In addition, the description of the process suggests that the agent's claim that the property was "sold" is not true. Up to the exchange of contracts (about ten days after offer and acceptance) a property is still legally on the market, must be presented for sale and is open to further offers, which (to repeat) must be forwarded to the vendor. I don't understand why using electronics on planes at inappropriate and unsafe times is not also an offence. Maybe it's because the pollies are the worst offenders?
