Where do people learn to speak like this? I know someone who has for many years been trying to stop farting in public. Despite the potential for unkind comments no-one has remarked upon her ‘flatulence journey’ and its potential to inspire and propel the nation.

The editors of what are laughingly referred to as womens’ magazines-called so because no reasonable man would want to read them-are infamous for handing out judgments on other women, lying when it suits them and generally behaving like prostitutes are meant to behave, but rarely do. However, to take a cunningly concealed camera and plant it in a gym is appalling. To do this to any woman, let alone the wife of a Prime Minister has revealed the nadir of the female news-shrek mentality.
Were there other people in the gym; I wonder how they feel about this intrusion into their privacy?

It’s hard to cling to 1950’ notions of first wife privacy when you’re in the age of Big Brother. And your Ministers sprout opinions about everyone from The Chaser (unseen by Rudd) to Ramsey (did Gillard see that either?)

Finally, your otherwise excellent report would have benefited greatly from the “of” being changed to “off” (para 7) and the inclusion of my fav word of the moment “gush”. As in ““She’s a real go getter,” gushed someone.”
