I don't get Ben Ikin's dummy spit over Nine running a story on a family member. The only conclusion is Ikin expects his employer to layoff reporting news about relatives and friends. It's embedded in the Queensland psyche - considerations for celebrities or in this case Ikins.

I happened to see A Current Affair last night, I don't usually watch it as I am somewhat averse to their vigilante tactics. I saw and heard some allegations against Alan Ikin, apparently his companies have gone into liquidation, and there were allegations of impropriety.
But the only thing that Ben Ikin was accused of, as far as I could tell, was that he was standing behind his father. And indeed why not?
Apropos of ACA and Channel 7 Today Tonight, how is it that these two "current affairs" channels frequently have the same content, or at least some of the same subject matter on their respective programs? Do they spy on each other, or do they have moles planted in the opposing channels?
