That there were a stack of applications re mining etc in the NT. It seems like a good time to ask the question; are there lots of applications by mining companies, what areas do they cover, and who's to make the decision/s? I think we'd all be a lot more aware of the truth if we got the correct answers to these questions. Withdraw the Anti-Discrimination Act for 5 years; get a media beat up about abuse (not saying it doesn't happen, but how many have been arrested, black and WHITE? what about areas in the rest of the country?) how remote areas are not viable blah blah, and there you have it. The foundation/s for removing aboriginal people from their country and clan- their reason/s for living. Oh yes, how's the paper work going for the nuclear waste dump/s? What remote areas are under review for that lot? Last time I heard, the two mentioned sites were dangerously close to human habitation, and their providers of sea food, plants and animals etc? Best thing to do, remove the people, and whammo! problem solved? Easy? I'll be the first to apologize if I'm proved wrong! But there's a heap of suspicion with this lot! They all think we're stupid? We have facilities for white farmers around the country who live in remote areas. No urgent need for them to move? Why is that? How come it's only a problem in the NT? Is it just a coincidence that there's murmerings of increasing uranium mining lately? This has a very bad smell about it, and it smells like money making to me? Call me cynical, but?
