Reading the above comments, together with my own somewhat acerbic views of what other people laughingly call the Government and the Opposition. The appalling and expanding bureaucracy, the apathy of the population, our religion of football, the way we waste our resources- Murray Darling River- the way we give away (something like three cents a litre isn't it?) our precious LNG to China, Japan, and if the country was America not only would they not have to pay, they would get us to pay for the trans- shipment.
Daily, huge tankers stuffed to their huge containers which have sucked up huge reserves of our vital LNG. Do we retain any of this and other mineral resources for ourselves? Ha!
Hasn't anyone here been at a mining site where they've found a huge mine? I have, more than once. And does anyone here know the first thing the lucky recipient says? I do! 'Well we can sell this to America.' Then we have the fact that we are still tied to the monarchy of a foreign country.
I get to ask myself a question which I am prepared to share with everyone.
IS THERE ANYTHING RIGHT ABOUT AUSTRALIA?
