Yesterday's Australian Media section was illuminating read with News Ltd 'launching new multi-media project' (i.e. website) The Punch (http://www.theaustralian.news.com.au/business/story/0,28124,25531120-7582,00.html). Writers will not be paid. Even more amusingly 'with no marketing budget, the site will rely on word-of-mouth'. Well that and articles in News Limited publications... News Limited. Mean indeed.
