Off topic slightly but how useless is only a mum could love him Fielding proposing porn raids on milk bars and servo's. And yes it should be a walk in the park for the Opposition in Senate Estimates but after the drubbing they got in QT today you'd swear they were all serving their apprenticeship.

Oz Post is incredibly boring stuff. Invariably there are 8000 questions about IR issues that Labor senators want to ask. No one outside the room cares. I only caught bits of ABC, who came next, but it seemed downright civil. Finance and Public Administration seemed stuck on vice-regal issues, which is unusual, but I left before I fell asleep. All of the country senators were in Agriculture trying to bag the ETS.

I'm giving it one out of five.

Question time today, same old same old. Dork features Pyne, masquerading as a Senior member of the Opposition still making a fool of himself and inviting the heave ho from the Speaker everytime he jumps to his feet on the pretense of making a point of order, but really launching into abuse of whatever Minister who happens to be on their feet. Pyne really does nothing for the decorum of the place. From Rudd down the front bench heavyweights sailed into the rabble Opposition who responded in screams and yells unrecognisable as the English language. Yep, just more of the same. Dont know whats worse, that rabble or Senator Joyce asking stupid innane questions in Senate hearings. Incidently someone should get Joyce to have his blood pressure checked, his bright red complexion certainly doesn't come from basking in the Queensland sun, looks decidedly unhealthy.

I was listening to the simulcast over the web this morning. It has been a pretty slow start. Australia Post vans needing side windows as an OH&S issue took nearly a full hour.

I might head over and watch some of it this week. I'm pretty sure I'm allowed to do it on company time too? There should be some fun fireworks, and I'd love to hear Henry speak. He seems pretty sharp.
