The comparison of the GLF and the Hun was illuminating. I am tired of 'campaigning' newspapers. 'Campaigning' has become a cheap and easy substitute for quality journalism. As editorial budgets continue to decline on the broadsheets we can expect to see more and more of this brash and empty substitute flaunting its tedious, moralising and populist wares.

As of now I am launching a campaign against campaigning papers. Their tired and worn out tricks MUST GO NOW.
WE THE PEOPLE DEMAND THAT THESE CHARLATANS BE FORCED OUT OF OFFICE NOW (OR MAYBE NEXT MONTH, OR THE MONTH AFTER THAT).
DISMISS THE EDITORS!
GERARD HENDERSON IS A BORING OLD TURD. GET RID OF HIM!

You telling me Andrew, that gutter dwelling Akerman preceeded his mate Bolt. Now I understand where Bolt received his abhorrent journalistic habits.

Think you might find it's 1.5 million readers on a Sunday Andrew...and I would have thought setting the agenda is something a newspaper should do now and then

What do you mean about the slogan 'restore public services' being "in favour of natural monopolies"?
