The change of the watch at CASA won't change anything. Over the years I have witnessed many similar events and duly reported to CASA but as some also involved various Aborigines Air services nothing was done. One flight even ran out of fuel just making it back to a beach in Darwin, another just made the runway but nothing happened. CASA won't challenge a Gov organisation like (old) ATSIC but give it a genuine safe operator and it will have a field day.

When you have a rotten culture you first cut out the rot and then start over with a professional approach, but with such a reputation who would want the challenge.

As to the Industry Complaints Commissioner, this is another cop out to stall matters. To hell with the safety issues.
