Don't you think after the abuse, condemnation and head kicks the Govt has taken over the last few months over the spending, handouts and stimulation packages etc they are entitled to a few laughs pre budget. Not that I think the Opposition will see anything funny, those stern faced voices of doom and gloom, peddling their tales of woe and pestulance are determined our lives are going to be one depression after another. Until the Coalition, whats left of them, come charging into our midst to redeem us from the dreaded Labor lefties who dared try and protect their fellow Australians from a recession they were not going to have. Did Mal ever have a sense of humour, I can't remember when. Perhaps its rubbing shoulders with the likes of the mad monk and the the ghost who walks (Ruddock) that has soured him so?
