I'm impressed by Malcolm. I had to be convinced because I was a Peter King supporter, but I have met Malcolm a few times and I think he's a good man.

Venise, Kevin can get away with not being a good orator *if* he proves to be a good administrator. I'm happy to be bored to tears if he just does a good job. Malcolm though, he *has* to orate, he's not in government, and he has to impress the hell out of us to get our vote.

I'm also wondering why we hear about Malcolm being a great orator but so far nothing has had me riveted in my seat during question time or any other time. I've not seen him in a court setting - perhaps it harks back to his Republican days when his heart and ego were constantly gratified.

I fail to understand why the author should imagine Malcolm Turnbull to be be a good orator.
Last night and every time I've heard him, he came/comes across like a wet turd.
There is only one way to set an audience on fire, and that's like being aboard a good show-jumper. You throw your heart over the jump and hope to Christ that the horse follows your instructions. HEART MALCOLM, FIRE, ENTHUSIASM, GUTS. these are the qualities which are needed.
At the moment you are a boring mirror-image of the pretentious little prick who happens to be in power.
I'd hate to hear Malcolm doing Henry V (Shakespeare). It's not easy to fall asleep during this play. But I reckon both Kevin Rudd and Malcolm Turnbull could achieve the impossible.

Malcolm would do himself and us a favor if he could offer some insight into why he apparently tripped out at the Press Club. Was it medication, abject tiredness or a laced Pinot Noir that had a paying audience dragged through some bizarre nightmare whereby athletes with lead–weighted pockets and back packs faced hurdles as radio stations played Rudd mind-set games with listeners and (oh!) Pharoah’s dream visited households in Mackay, Gladstone, Cessnock and Launceston to wreak seven years of pestilence while Jeckyll and Hyde and Margaret Thatcher popped up to warn voters they'd drown in a cash splash unless they used it wisely. Still, he’s a vast improvement on Costello!
