As one who spent a day handing out how-to-vote cards with Latham's face on them, I am disappointed that he feels the need to publish comments which only serve to prove what many already suspected about him. What he obviously doesn't get is that no one cares - he's alienated those who supported him and proven those who opposed him to have been right all along. Or maybe he does get it, and having lost Howard as a target he sees giving Costello the kiss of death as his only chance at revenge. It's all very confusing.

Interesting comments on Andrew Robb - yes a very talented person - "plugging into Melbourne Business Community" is a worry for 2 reasons: When does advice from his business community overstep the mark into "influence" and beyond. Secondly, erm, there is more to this country's business community than Melbourne (or Sydney)
