Since when the heck were Oreos Australian? There were inventied in America in the 1910’s. Maybe the cartoon’s creator is confused with Tim Tams, the iconic Australian chocolate biscuit. Maybe the cartoonist should put their own brain in the ‘sold out to overseas before really thinking about it’ department.

    Stevo - me too!
You Beaut - No, but Hills Hoist is, are you paying attention?
Lucy - Surely everyone you know is already a Crikey Subscriber? Surely!

Maybe the cartoonist knows perfectly well that Oreos are not Australian and has in fact used them intentionally. Would it have been easier for you if I had used McDonalds?
