What a garbage article. You only managed to quote two members of the opposition, I wonder what they would say!?

Excellent article.

Pretty sure I saw a classified in Fairfax lately of another NSW Govt Game Council advert encouraging people to go 'conservation' hunting. Yet the govt could save some money and hire expert sharpshooters who can actually cull ferals following a scientific programme.

They might even get more votes for that.

If Ms Keneally has attracted the approving attention of developers, our community in the Southern Tablelands, (just 100 kms south of Hill Top's unwanted shooting complex) will be keeping close tabs on the Minister's upcoming decisions. Currently there is a sand and hard rock quarry application being assessed - located at Ardmore Park, Bungonia. There are huge inaccuracies in the application, 100 percent of the local population is opposed to it and a previous application for the same stuff was refused by Keneally's predecessor and the developer's appeal dismissed in the Land and Environment Court. The developer wants to use vast quantities of bore water to the detriment of all surrounding rural businesses, and would inflict the severe consequences of silica dust on the area including along a 20km haul route. The haul route is a narrow winding country road on which the developer would put B-double size quarry trucks withour proper road upggrade. Our community is waiting and watching the Minister's actions very closely indeed.
