JBu: it is you who is the arse. A vulture’s arse.
FD: The dog in bushfire is sad. But so spot on.

FDOTM always takes its moral role seriously. Clearly, comedy is not an appropriate response to the current tragedy. Jesus.

Stick to the comedy - your readers have no idea if you are being sentimental or a smart arse.

JBu I’m glad I don’t resemble that remark.
A cartoonist who can make you laugh and cry at the same time, is a rare and precious creature. Crikey wouldn’t be the same without him.

I think the responses are more of a reflection of the responders character than the cartoonists. Keep it up FD, you’ve got my full support. Pictures don’t always need to be funny. Maybe you should re-badge yourself as an artist, rather than cartoonist, just to make it obvious for the Philistines.

FD…you’ve captured the moments of political players expressing emotion. It’s up to the audience to interpret the images.

You guys on the string don’t you get it. It’s a mass funeral. There is no right way to respond. It’s all raw emotions. Let JBu express his anger. Far better that he does. Let First Dog pictorialise as he must .. it’s in his nature. Let the pollies speak, hardly practical but hey that’s what they do too.
It’s a funeral okay, there is no right way to feel. No one does it ‘right’. We each just have to do our best, step by step. The whole things a shocker without any doubt.

JBu - it’s pretty obvious that First Dog has been providing a pictorial expression of concern and grief for the past couple of days. Pretty unnecessary comment mate.
