Labor will not get everything right as hindsight will show but no government could. It has to act very quickly and on the best advice available. Whatever happened to the bipartisan support promised by Malcolm Turnbull? It never emerged of course because, as usual, the Opposition is focused on one thing and one thing only: political point scoring aimed at the next election.
