		<description>There could be a place for a government supported newspaper. The ABC &amp; SBS are very successful broadcasters supplying variety compared to the commercial stations. Why not written media? And good on President Sarkozy getting rid of advertisements from state owned channels. We should do this with SBS and increase their financial support by government. Less government involvement in services has not helped improve our quality of life in recent years. If it can ensure continued quality written media then this can only be good. </description>
