LIST OF GLOBAL COMPANIES TO BOYCOT WHO INVEST HEAVILY IN ISRAEL;

check out the following link for a start:

http://www.inminds.co.uk/boycott-brands.html

Most of these companies operate in Australia.

However, we need a detailed list of those Israeli companies who export to Oz, as well as those Oz companies who export to Israel. The Australia Israeli Chamber of Commerce lists are not working at present.......I wonder why?

Any suggestions?
I already boycott everything Israeli or operated by Australian bigoted Zionists.

I recommend that all fair minded Aussies check before buying anything made in Israel, and let the supplier know why you're not buying it.

A list of Israeli manufactured goods or services to be boycotted would be a start.

Any suggestions as to how I might best compile such a list ????

I'm an ANC supporting exile from apartheid SA.

There is a significant difference between the Israeli situation and apartheid SA.

I would argue that Israel's brutality is now beyond the worse of SA. Soweto was never shelled indiscriminately. Also, the west gave up on SA as communism collapsed. Bankers would not roll over loans.

Israel has the US in its pocket and toadies like Rudd and the leadership of the ALP unwilling to even mildly criticise Israel's worse excesses. I wonder if it is fear of a reaction by pro-Israeli Jews in Australia or simply that the the white leadership of this country remains racist. (Brown excepted)

Whatever the reason, they are doing the Israelis no favours - much misery in South Africa could have been averted had the west been able to force a settlement earlier than it did. I believe the same is true for Israel.

My sympathy goes out to decent Jews everywhere.

Just 20 minutes ago Livni (deleted the first name just as I refer to Bjelke Peterson) was on 7.30 shoring up local support in an interview with ABC and our own Matt Brown.

She came across as a fanatic in my view. Not the words, which were all pretty smooth. But the dogmatic tone.

She's an ambitious politician with her eye firmly on the main chance in the Feb election. As a former local council pollie I can see it as any practicising politician will also. Rundle has said it correctly earlier in the ezine.

One question somewhat sceptical Matt Brown might have asked - if the goal is to stop the Hamas rockets how come they did stop from July to October 2008? What went wrong. What did Israel do that was wrong, if anything? An honest answer to that unasked question would be hard to get.

Israel was in constructive breach of the truce by failing to open up full supplies of food, medicine and other humanitarian necessities. Hamas got the shits, started a tunnel to progress a kidnapping gambit and Israel freaked with targetted killings. And in November it all came unstuck. But the determination to starve Hamas out with "economic sanctions" to quote Mark Regev to Kinane on ABC RN was pretty blatant.

At least that's my reading and I would be interested in any factual corrections to that chronology of the last 6 months. My view Livni must be worried the currency in manipulative PR on the Holocaust, and existential threat of rocket fire, doesn't wash anymore coming from self serving politicians as a whole society is ripped apart by bombs.

She's got no credibility.

Absolutely Tom and I must say it was a somewhat sycophantic interview that reeked of fear of not having future interview access.

And in other news, the president of the ANC, Jacob Zuma is being indicted on corruption charges. While I loathe apartheid, perhaps the international intervention in South African politics has not been as successful as one might hope.

Inevitably power corrupts, whether it is in the US, South Africa Israel or even Australia.
