Dear Crikey readers,

Though appreciative of the undeserved fame that this article brings me (since I had nothing to do with organising this meeting) I just wanted to write to correct the inaccurate record that "I stormed out of the meeing moments after it was concluded". Attendees at the meeting can confirm that I hung around for a good half an hour after the conclusion of the meeting, getting to know all of the new faces (and there were many) and welcoming many of them to the Young LNP. Branch development is always a good thing, and if I personally provided the incentive for many new faces to join the Young LNP, on the eve of a state election campaign, then I have done a great good for the party, although I suspect that this was not actually the case.

I welcome all new members to the Young LNP and will do whatever I can to encourage them to stick around, and help us to whip the ALP.

I also wish to put on record my strong support for Anthongy Phung (I know how to correctly spell his name) as the new Chairman of Mt Ommaney Young LNP. Anthony is a very energetic and intelligent man and provides much talent to the Young LNP. I look forward to us working together to grow the Young LNP presence in Mt Ommaney.

Warmest regards

Simon Ingram
Young LNP President
0410 449 542
simon.ingram@lnp.org.au

Did the Holy bum ever sit itself on the throne at RAAF Richmond? Did the holy snake ever point to the porcelain? Did in fact the Holy red shoes ever skip the light fantastic into the upgraded $80,000 VIP loo.
Or did the guy in the dress ablute before leaving Pope Air 1? So many unanswered questions, so many dollars down the ' dunny ' for what?
