So Bill Shorten has a girlfriend and travels to see her every weekend, B.F.D. !! As long as he's paying for the air fares and not claiming Travel Allowances can you please advise me why this rates a mention in this esteemed publication ? The call of hormones is very strong, I've known young blokes who regularly DROVE five to six hundred kilometres to spend the weekend with their beloved. A two hour plane trip is a doddle by comparison Am I reading Crikey or New Idea ???

Crikey.com.au readers might like to inform themselves of what those proud supporters of the native forest woodchipping industry have been up to in East Gippsland.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dEdV5jXOeqw

These images are from November 2008 in our nation. This kind of forest is typically 300 plus year old mature trees with hollow limbs for wildlife habitat - like the Tawny Frogmouth PM Rudd rescued at Kirribilli the other week.

But that 300 years doesn't explain the significance. It's the climax stage of a forest from grassland to dry sclerophyl to wet old growth over storey is around 1,000 years to establish. In this place Brown Mountain that forest is been intact since the last ice age, for 10,000 years.

The logs were chipped via Eden in SE NSW for export to Japan for innocent consumers to use in comic books are to wipe their *rse. That's the quality of ALP Govt we have in this country in Vic, NSW and federally, as well as the Forestry Union with MIchael O'Connor on the national executive. Ex boyfriend of Acting PM Julia Gillard.

In mitigation only, last week Brumby did announce reserves in the redgum forests along the Murray though 75% are nearly dead now. Just vote green.

It is pointless going to the Telephone Industry Ombudsman, they are industry funded and look after the industry. I was treated very badly by a provider and I may well have bashed my head against the wall. The Federal Government needs to have someone else look after and take the complaints for people like myself who have been mistreated. Good on you for bringing this up, can you pursue this with the Feds or Conroy please? I am now with Westnet and their treatment of me has been superb. Previously I had been without a SEND feature on my email for 5 weeks. The provider had to be forced into going to Telstra to fix it. Even though our Tech had said this was the problem in the first place. The TIO are useless.
