For the Crikey Reader's Choice Award, how about including a new category "Most appalling Political Outcome in 2008"
In that category my vote would go to Mr 5% and the Rudd model for tackling climate change.

There were opportunities for bold initiatives that could have shown global leadership and significant flow on benefits to reposition Australian renewable energy industries as potential world leaders. Instead we have “f _ _ k all” to show for the 'action on climate change' mandate that Rudd achieved at the last election.
