I'm still trying to understand the point of your dig at ABC Radio National's blog "kerriejean.com" in Tips and Rumours [02/12/08].

Is the tipster/rumourer trying to undermine the only ABC website pages that make me laugh out loud?

Sounds like the tipster Could Do With a Root This Xmas.

Crikey! What a fuss your correspondent in Tips and Rumours makes about KJ's singing satire on female sexual desire on her Radio National blog as he directs the attention of ABC Management.

Gollygeewillikins, as we used to say in London when the doodlebugs whistled over.
At the time I was working at Bletchley Park on lyrics to be broadcast along with music to the lads at the Front and then relayed to the Germans.
I was quite satisfied with my composition:

Hitler hat nur bloss erst bekam man Ball , Göring hat zwei aber sehr klein , Himmler ist einigermaßen ähnlich , Aber ärmlich alt Goebbels hat null Bäusche überhaupt

After the War a German jounalist on Kreikart complained on behalf of the Goebbels Family that the BBC was still broadcasting a song suggesting that Dr Goebbels was totally deficient in the Downstairs Department and were prepared to sue and seek dismissal of the author.
The action was not succesful because DNA tests did not exist then and furthermore the original author of Hitler has only Got One Ball was Vera Lynn.

It’s understandable that people may find it distasteful to report on a person’s health issues but as chairman of the world’s biggest cardboard corporation surely investors have a need to know info that may affect share price etc.

Can’t quite see what the Kerrie Jean supporters are on about here. KJ’s blog is not being attacked. Rather, ABC managements’ notion of what an online ‘future’ might look like is quite rightly being questioned. Perhaps KJ’s website is a bit of fun but I really wonder if this is the direction we want RN to be going in.

So why such an unwarranted dig at Kerrijeans blog on the ABC website? Its about as cheap as Glen Milnes sucker punch on Steven Maine. If crikey is so high and mighty with its valuable journalistic integrity, why did Steven sell out so cheap? Really it’s just a laugh at a tune in a blog you probably haven’t even listened too no more no less. People in Leeton local are pissing themselves with uncontrollable laughter. This tune is far from an indication of the downfall of the ABC’s editorial integrity. Rather your story is an indication of the lack of your own. I hope you do in fact relieve such desperation for twisting the meaning a story with a root for Christmas, after which you will actually realise how stupid you look.
