Malcolm Turnbull's timing is not good. Just as he was insisting that it is a bad thing for governments to borrow and take their budgets into deficit, the governments in the United States and England were doing just that and giving good arguments to justify their actions. Will he tell them in his rather pompous "I was once a merchant banker" way that he is right and they are wrong? I notice in TV clips that he now tends to raise his voice and talk as if he thinks his listeners are deaf or stupid or both. That is a real put off for voters.

Corrected.
These really economically disastrous times are specially characterized by everyone knowing that all good economists all know what it means, what to do, how not to make it worse and there are huge historical examples with only consensus shrouds to discuss.
So you have to be stupid or ill to say the wrong thing. Competitive business innovative thinking is not an asset. Being a private banker, financier may be the dumbest qualifications in the present circumstances.
I think you are confirming that Malcolm needs a brain scan (PET Scan).
There's a lot to learn from the unique sense that Steve gets from Malcolm. It's just as legitimate as the rest. To listen is to learn so often.

Meanwhile, petrol is approaching the $1 mark in a downward direction. 5c cuts and FuelWatch seem kind of irrelevant now.

Why are there 2 Dr Harvey M Tarvydas, by the way? Is one a sock-puppet?

Silly me. I thought Malcolm Turnbull might have put a bit o ginger under the government. Instead we are confronted by a rather short man, who has a robotic ability to talk on ad infinitum with the same mournful delivery as the young Malcolm Fraser,-well I think he was young at some stage. The electorate is left with the ar-e-end of a disconnected conservative party who still fail to understand they LOST the last election.
