Just as he was insisting that it is a bad thing for governments to borrow and take their budgets into deficit, the governments in the United States and England were doing just that and giving good arguments to justify their actions. Will he tell them in his rather pompous "I was once a merchant banker" way that he is right and they are wrong? I notice in TV clips that he now tends to raise his voice and talk as if he thinks his listeners are deaf or stupid or both. That is a real put off for voters. Malcolm Turnbull’s timing is not good.
