		<description>It&#039;s odd that the US currency has exploded in value given Ben Bernanke&#039;s policy prescription of airdropping US dollars into the economy. If these dollars aren&#039;t finding their way to main street due to hoarding by banks, wouldn&#039;t it make sense to just nationalise them and unravel the webs of hidden debt as quickly as possible so they can get back to the business of lending money again?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;They could always refloat them again at a later date once a proper regulatory system is in place. If I&#039;m not mistaken, this is the path Sweden took to pull itself out of a banking crisis...</description>
