Dickheads like these should be forced by law to wear condoms (on their heads all the time) and make the world a safer place. The 99 referendum was lost because Australians fell for the monarchists line that we're independent of Britain in every way (which is crap as long as the Monarch of Australia lives in Britain and is a servant of the British). Republicans need to make this point loudly and clearly, so singing 'God Save The Queen' and wearing union jack cufflinks is a great way to do this. Only when ordinary Aussies (who don't normally give a crap about the issue) realise how dumb the scenario is will things change. Absolutely nothing wrong with Patrick McGrath’s cufflinks.
