I have always admired Kerry for her outspoken stance on many social issues but now she has joined the right wing greedy corporate giant and sold her soul she no longer has any credibility in my eyes. Surely to God she is not that desperate for money? Shame on you Kerry. You have let the side down. I thought the character Kerry played in Bed of Roses was far to ditzy - I couldnt believe anyone was that dumb - but maybe she was actually playing herself! Because you would have to be pretty ditzy to sell your socialist soul to a corporate devil.

I was quite shocked at this ad and proceeded to send an email to Kerry Armstrong, not sure if i will get an answer. I used to drink coke and go to fast food outlet years ago but have stopped because of moral issues.

I am contacting you regarding the advertising feature in Good Weekend.
I have always seen you as someone you can trust with values etc...
It was a shock to me to see that you support Coca Cola. Everything that you said is certainly true but i would like to let you know that Coca Cola around the world is not a very environmently friendly company. A few examples from Maud barlow's most recent book "Blue Covenant": Coca Cola is taking massive amount of ground water in Central Java ruining the lives of farmers, in the state of Chiapas, Mexico coca cola extract enough water to supply five villages while local residents go without water, in India coca cola and pepsi are creating water shortages by overpumping water.
These examples can be found p135-136 of Maud's book. It is also a great book that you might like to read.
Hoping that reading these facts might make you rethink your association with coca cola.

Well she certainly has no credibility now, and fancy saying 'my boys', do their fathers (she has three sons) no longer have any role whatsoever with their sons? I thought she was divorced not widowed.

Interesting too that Coke did not address one of the real reasons for not drinking Coke is that it has around 3 tablespoons of sugar in a average serve. That's no myth.

Re use as a spermicide, it does and doesn't work. From Wikipedia (Which also reports that coca cola did once contain cocaine):

The ad says ‘Coca Cola has never had illegal subsances’: this is true - cocaine was a legal substance until the 1960s or thereabouts. Pure spin.
