By someone who once headed the National Crime Authority. Peter and I do have one thing in common . Neither of us is likely to be around to witness the death of the Great Barrier Reef. I will carry fond memories of my many visits to the Reef, till the end of my days. Unlike Peter I will try my best to ensure that those who come after me will also have the privilege of gazing in wonder at one of nature's greatest creations.
