Know your subscribers

We can do this a couple of ways. We can print a nice copy of Public Transport is your friend and I can sign it and send it to you carefully.

Or

I can draw another cartoon with you as the star (or villain). If it is any good, we might want to publish it.

This is a difficult decision. A signed copy of Public Transport is Your Friend sounds great. At the same time though, although it sounds vain, I think I would very much enjoy being portrayed as the star or villain. I think I will go for the latter if that’s ok.
