Oh come on Bernard, this is tabloid stuff. Rees has said on a number of occasions that he knew nothing. This insinuation damages everyone involved; either let the police do their work should there be a need for it, or forget about it all together. I’ve got no political affiliations on this issue, believing State Govt to be so useless it should be deleted, but this sort of pointless conjecture helps no-one.

Oh come on Evan! I think the point Bernard is making is that political parties and the parliament are making no effort to maintain parliamentary and governance standards. If political staff like Rees avoid reporting illegal or immoral activities to save their career parliaments would resemble Grafton’s class of 99 inmate’s reunion. Ignore the law and keep your job doesn’t sit well with those swearing to uphold the values of God, Queen and Country. Had Gillian Sneddon followed suit and saved her job, health, career and home Orkopoulos would still be out there ruining young lives. Either Rees is a remiss, indolent ALP disciple like Costa, Meagher and Matt Brown or he’s just flexible on ethics and morals. Not exactly leadership material?

Some people want to get to the bottom of who knew what, some are afraid of what they will find out. The NSW State Government looks bad enough already, I agree, however we need a Premier with integrity and if he is not up for it he might as well make a "red hot" run for it! Isn't that what he did before, instead of contacting the Police, his own feet did not touch the ground as he ran for the Premiers Office, so that he would not be tainted.

Correct me if I am wrong, but isn’t John Aquilina MP, and former Speaker of the Legislative Assembly still in Parliament? After speaking with Electorate Officers, I believe that the Speaker along with Clerk of the Parliament, Russell Grove, would have been jointly responsible for OH&S of Electorate Office staff. What did they do to assist Gillian when they became aware that she was assisting with a police investigation into her boss? Also why would channel 7 interview Orkopoulos last weekend, while he is in prison? He is in prison for his deception and crimes!
