I am with Simon.
Your brilliance is surpassed by your courage.
I hope you inspire the support your courage needs to survive against the very thing you so articulately describe. I note that it seems so purveying the launch speakers names.
Psychology, psychology, psychology is everything.
Inspired.
[posting again from memory... first attempt did not appear]
Tess, congratulations on making such an insightful and overdue posting on this sensitive topic. You have articulated beautifully a problem which is in no way unique to indigenous health. It is endemic in may areas of public health where various orthodoxies constipate lateral, creative thinking about both problem analysis and solutions. In my own main area, tobacco control, there are legions of international professional conference attenders who make little contribution other than to create demand for yet more workshops to service their own appetites for endless recycling of the same sort of conclusions.

Congratulations again. I can't wait to read your book.
