While I wait until the dust settles from the council election, I do wonder what the makeup of councils will be. A lot depends on preferences and who gets eliminated first. In my ward in Blacktown council (3 aldermen) it looks like 1 labor, 1 liberal, and one ? Mind you, one of the independents had (name) independent on a sticker covering the Liberal logo on his corflutes. How much is Frank Sartor to blame? Will we end up with councils where no vote can pass? Who will get the blame for this?

Tom - I'm with you on Price's alleged Sartor/Salusinszky reference. If Sartor did a whistleblow job on Matt Brown he should be appearing before the NSW lower house inquiry into such occurrences...same as Gillian Sneddon who took the time in her despair to contribute debate. If whistleblowers end up being the former administrators...its a whole new constitutional nightmare. Maybe Price didn't realise what he was opening up...which wouldn't surprise.

1. Why is Steve Price/2UE the only one, and only once in interview with Rees it seems, to imply it was Frank Sartor who made the drop to Imre on Brown smear? Are the press gallery journos censoring their sources according to professional principle but also effectively protecting Sartor from worse?

2. Why do the Big Media give that lipstick feminist career Lefty disaster tourist, featherbedder Meredith Burgmann so much air time trailing her excuses for a hammering 'south of Cleveland St' that she claimed was her own test of Clover's cred?. Hold her to it. Her Ernies co-author still no competitive job selection process at Addison Rd Comunity Centre, in Marrickville LGA. What now under Green Party hegemony. Will they expose the scandal, or turn a blind eye? Peter Olive is the Green Councillor ex officio on that community board and he knows it's wrong. The point is Burgmann was seen as part of the problem of ALP sleaze, not a solution. She voted for Sartor's planning laws as loyal ALP MP.

3. I blogged 2 weeks back local Sydney ABC radio was failing to properly reflect the 3rd force in politics in their standard political panels leading to perverse commentary as axiomatic. Deborah Cameron has now admitted earlier today "they are working on it". It seems to moi the numbers on Saturday appropo the Greens finally became to stark to deny their structural bias to the major two parties. But it should have been addressed before not after. Having said that always better late ....
