None of the tables mention sea level rise. At +5 degrees whe have the same climate as in the Eocene period 40M years ago. There was no ice on the planet and the sea level was some 75 metres (250) feet higher than today. More than half of the worlds major cities will be under water. Even a temperature rise of half that will cause a 25 (80ft) metre rise in sea level. The Greenland Ice sheet is in meltdown mode at 7% pa, that is half will be gone in 10 years. Once its all gone Greenland's continental ice meltdown into the oceans will contribute a 7metre rise in sea level. Hundreds of millions of people will be on the move. Forget the global war on terror, lets go on a war footing and fight the good fight against global warming. Any one heard Al Gore's speech in July?
