		<description>While the decreasing investment in journalistic resources in big media is of concern in terms of quality and employment security, you make a strong point that it is not the only game in town. The MEAA&#039;s annual freelance convention provides an  invaluable opportunity for freelancers for networking and education. However, as the constituency of members shifts to include increasing numbers of journalists working for smaller and other publications there needs to be a proportionate amount of time and energy given to this group. </description>

		<description>I agree completely especially since the way News recycles old rubbish and censors any opinion opposed to their own in the comment section of a few articles you can say anything. I must say its a nice thing to find this site where you can disagree with the journalist and not have the site editor delete your comment. One thing I found rather odd over at Fairfax was the CEO David Kirk writing a few pieces all be it on rugby seeing he is an ex All Black but still it did seem amusing. </description>
