OOPs, His Ma is 96, not 86 and his dad died at 71 and his grenddad at 61. Still by comparison and in today's terms they lived long lives. I sort of believe it

Sarah's comparison to ditzy Elaine Benes isn't all that wide of the mark. How does anyone run a pro-life agenda while shooting down polars, deer and moose? With a family breeding like rabbits..all we need is for hubby to emerge as another Jerry to complete the sitcom ..although he looks more like Kramer.

Hi Kim ..... i hus paid my munney......saddo and sado indeed!

Palin might be an inspired choice. Who would have thought that the Democratic nominee could actually lose after GeorgeW?

Is the world ready for a Peterman-Elaine presidency? I dunno but I will certainly be glad when this is over and we have heard the the last of Rundle for a millennium or two. It would be especially delicious if McCain becomes President in '08 and Clinton in '12 just to serve it up to Rundle if he ever pipes up again.

The irony, of course, is that Elaine was so pro-choice she once broke up with a man because he was a pro-lifer.

Guy

Thank you for culturally referencing the Urban Sombrero: one of my favourite Seinfeld moments. I look forward to McCain's concession speech: "The Horror! The Horror!".

Isn't it typical of the Left liberals being unable to distinguish between a bear and an unborn child? Protecting one while they happily butcher the other 'cause their condom broke!

Great think piece, Guy. Well worth the cost of having you as an entertainment reporter doing a crossover puff piece of trite entertainment yada yada yada. Are you a reporter or an entertainer?

Here's a thought .... it seems that everyone assumes;
1) That if elected, The Big Mac will surely die, .... hardly, check the actuarial tables on his chances of longevity multiplied by the number of "crazy Americans with guns" who have all manner er of "issues" with the 'Bama ... sad but true and very very frightening. His Ma is 86? and both his father and grandfather lived to a ripe old age, so the odds are with the Big Mac.
2) That America has the ability to survive the ramifications resulting from electing another Jimmy Carter neophyte do goodder, albeit a much much more appealing one. The rest of the World has already sounded the proverbial "two minute warning" for America to get their house in order now.
3)That style will always defeat substance.
4) Obamas main mantra is "The change we need and have to have" ... so he chooses Biden a disgruntled party hack who said repeatedly that "Obama is NOT fit to lead (the Nation)" and that "I stand by that statement" And Biden also said this gem ... live on Fox News ... " I do not seek nor will I accept, if offered, the Vice Presidency of the United States of America" Hallelujah a new day is dawning.

Lest we forget that Kennedy is worshipped to this day and Johnson is not, yet it was Johnson who championed and drove through the Civil Rights Act in America. And Kennedy? Well he was out foxed by a former Russian peasant, Khrushchev (not that there is anything wrong with being a forme Russian peasant …. Some of my best friends .... ). Still Kennedy looked good on TV so he won. Yeah right.

I love the idea of an Obama ...what reasonable person wouldn't? Alas, I fear that this Obama is not the Obama that we all seek and so need.

Party on Guy ….
